Physical Therapist
Dr. Dante is passionate about helping empower people to become better versions of themselves. He has a vision to upend the traditional healthcare model, and started Movement Redefined with his business partner, Matt, to do just that. He believes our community deserves better for their health and well-being, including full attention to their specific needs and a plan that actually brings results.
Dr. Dante received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in the same city in which he grew up. He later received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Over the years, he has become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, became dry needling certified, and received certification as a Lifestyle Medicine Professional. He is excited to deliver his years of experience and knowledge to his clients to help them Live Fully, but always ready to learn more.
Dr. Dante and his family relocated to Hampton Roads in 2020. He lives in Chesapeake with his wife, Bethany, 2 children, and their fur baby Buckingham the goldendoodle. In his spare time you can find him staying active, coaching various sports, experimenting in the kitchen, going to the beach, and training for his next triathlon.

Personal Trainer
Matt has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years. He has been a personal trainer, coach, fitness director and educator, working in clubs ranging from some of the largest and most respected facilities in the country, to boutique gyms and performance facilities. He has studied and trained extensively in the areas of corrective exercise, biomechanics, and posture. He remembers the first time he ever heard the terms “Functional” and “Training” used together in fitness as a participant in some of the earliest courses teaching it.
Matt has always been fascinated by the human body and works tirelessly to figure out complexities of movement and to improve performance. That quality is rivaled only by his passion for people and a genuine desire to see them succeed. He has lived through injury, chronic pain, and limitation, himself, and the journey to redemption. Finding true strength and healing is what motivates him every day to see others experience the same transformation, and feel capable, grounded in their body, and able to Live Fully.
Matt grew up in Waynesboro, VA. He started college at VCU before transferring to an academy in New York City to further his studies, and continued work there for 12 years before moving to Virginia Beach. He is now married to his beautiful wife, Brittany, and is the proud father of two girls.
